Warranty Information

At Right Way Garage Doors, we stand behind the quality of our products and workmanship.

All garage door and garage door opener installations include a 1-year labor warranty, unless otherwise stated on the original invoice.

This warranty request form is intended only for customers with an active Right Way Garage Doors labor warranty.

If your Right Way labor warranty has expired but you still have an active manufacturer warranty on a product or part, please contact our office to schedule a service appointment at (707) 446-9214.

Warranty Exclusions & Limitations

Right Way Garage Doors is not responsible for pre-wire located inside walls or attics.

The following items and conditions are not covered under labor warranty:

Safety sensor adjustments
Re-connecting or troubleshooting pre-existing garage door openers
Bottom weather seals on garage doors
Programming, setup, activation, or functionality of HomeLink® systems
Cosmetic concerns
Accidental damage
Misuse or abuse
Lack of maintenance
Damage caused by third parties or outside contractors

Submitting a warranty request does not guarantee warranty coverage.

Our team will review the information provided and contact you regarding the next steps.

If the reported issue is determined to be outside of warranty coverage, additional service charges may apply.

Safety Notice

If your garage door is off track, hanging unevenly, making loud noises, or difficult to open or close, discontinue use immediately until the system can be professionally inspected.

I can’t speak to a price comparison but I will say that the technician came, completed the work professionally and explained the process thoroughly, gave options, and left us with all necessary documentation, warranty info, etc, should we have issues down the line.

 Verified To keep a good story short. I contacted this business and heard from them right away. They ended up sending Matt out a couple days later. He showed his humble professional knowledge on garages out the gate. We came up with a good solution with in my budget and the last thing i was expecting was for him to say let's get it done now. All in all he restored my out dated garage system, motor, rollers, added sensors the hole shabang in under 2 hours. Couldn't recommend a better garage service.

 Verified Rightway DO NOT STAND BY THEIR WORK. They installed a new garage door for me. Everything leading up to the installation went really well. They sent a sales guy who spent two hours walking me through options, taking DETAILED measurements, and reviewing material samples. the door arrived about 6 weeks later as promised. Andrew, the installation tech, did a beautiful job with an especially challenging install due to our low garage ceilings. Unfortunately, after the install was complete it was clear that there were cosmetic defects with the doors. Andrew took a few photos and said that someone would be out to take a closer look and the door may need to be replaced. No one came out or called but after about a week of radio silence, someone sent a text that said 'we spoke to the manufacturer and they said this is how it's supposed to be'.   I haven't been able to actually speak to anyone at Rightway to explain the problem to them so I don't know how they even spoke to the manufacturer and of course both the manufacturer and Rightway are incentivized not to do anything about this. My dispute with them continues. All I can say is that if you buy from them, you better hope everything goes perfectly because they do not stand by their work and their after-service is non-existent.  Also, the fact that they do not manufacturer the doors allows them to punt the responsibility to the manufactuer. But since they are the ones buying the door on your behalf, you don't even have a clear line of redress with the manufacturer either. You are just stuck in no man's land.

Right Way Garage Doors has an afterhours call line, which is great for emergencies. My garage door tension coil snapped in the middle of the night, and I called their office. Surprisingly, someone answered and I was able to schedule an appointment the next morning.
Dean and his team were able to fix my tension coil within less than an hour. He even went above and beyond and tighten the hinges, and sprayed lubricant. He was able to fix my garage door and also explained a lot of technical and important details about maintaining the garage doors. Thanks Right Way Garage Doors! Now, the garage door opens and closes smoothly, and looks like it glides!

 Verified Excellent customer service. It was very easy and quick to get an appointment.  The repair technician (Eldrin) was very professional, personable, knowledgeable and on time!
He detected the problem very quickly, made the repair and the price was reasonable. 
The company name "Right Way" describes this company perfectly because the technician definitely did everything the Right Way".
